Nikson is a 4 piece band formed in 2005 in Győr, Hungary. Their sound and attitude could be named like a mix of punk rock and melodic hardcore with the 90’s punk and modern pop influences. The band recorded they first demo/EP called ‘Somewhere Between Here and There’ in October of 2006. In October of 2008, the first full-length album ‘So Far From Home’ was released in Hungary and the USA; twelve songs filled with passion, love and hate. The album was a successful good start for Nikson to begin touring outside of their home country. During 2007-2008, Nikson toured Hungary, a couple shows in Germany and Austria (sharing the stage with great Austrian bands like 3 Feet Smaller and No More Encore) and won over several music talent scouts, garnering leverage to get the sponsorship of Famous Stars and Straps and Cocaine Energy Drink.

In the summer of 2009, Nikson shot their first music video for the song “Stay With Me” and in October of that year, toured Scotland. They also recorded their ‘Blue Bird’ EP with 3 songs made for promotional downloads. In 2010, the band recorded their second full-length album ‘Preachers Go To Hell’, adding a more colourful mix of musical influences giving them a more unique style. This record was released in Hungary and the UK. Nikson shot a music video for the song “I Was Thinking…” from the album. The band went on a Russian tour in March and turning into a huge success, adding a noticeable amount of new Russian *Nikson fans.* Nikson Bassist “Gabor Horvath” earned the respect and endorsement of WARWICK, a bass amp/guitar company. Endorsements by the Hungarian distributor of SHURE, followed for the band.
