Cornflames

Emiotional sound. By combining different elements of emorock, popnoise and indie, they managed to deliver a soundtrack to their personal lyrics through creating a boost of guitardriven melodies and passionate chorusses. The result of this writing process can be found on their debut album “Tonight, soon or forever”.

A collection of seven songs, seven stories .seven efforts to rock your body. Since the very beginning, Cornflames got spotted by various organisers , which resulted in shows all over Belgium. They shared stages with bands like Get Up Kids, Elliott, Jimmy Eat World, International Noise Conspiracy, Appleseed Cast, Pop Unknown and lots of other true believers of the nowadays so popular emo scene.

At the end of 2002, Cornflames decided to take a break from playing live to focus on the songwriting for the new album. In may of 2003 they hit D? Studio where ‘the farewell drive’ is recorded with producer Dirk Miers. The new album hit the streets in september and received raving reviews. Cornflames headed off on a German-Austrian-Slovenian tour in october and played a lot shows and will do so for the next year to come! The Farewell Drive CD was co-released with Engineer and promoted by us throughout the UK. The new album, just finished will be an Engineer co-production too. Coming soon!
