We are happy to share this extremely exciting message about Craig and Chris of Elemae:
Since returning from the Lamp Light UK tour, Chris and Craig have kept their Elemae fire burning with weekly rehearsals, as they’ve committed themselves to writing a new album, for an Elemae release to come. You’ll get a dose of one new song called “Slow” on the soon-to-be-released Lamp Light The Fire: A Compilation Of Quiet(ER) Songs, of which they debuted live on tour. The guys met with video director Matt Novak (who did The World Concave’s “Loom” video) who is now working on a storyboard for a video on the aforementioned song. Finally, we have word of some cool gig plans for the future.
Chris and Craig will be recording a few live songs at an in-studio acoustic session for future webcast on New Jersey radio WDHAfm with DJ Lindsay Klein. They’re planning a small trip for some Canadian shows in the late Spring/early Summer, while also doing sporadic gigs in their area prior to, the first of which takes place the week before Chrimbo, opening for the illustrious Walter Schreifels of Quicksand/Rival Schools fame!
